Who You Are:
As a 27 Virtual Senior VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS) Engineer, you possess extensive experience designing, deploying, configuring, automating, and operationalizing enterprise Kubernetes platforms on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9. You have a deep understanding of modern application platforms, Kubernetes architecture, cloud-native technologies, and the underlying VCF infrastructure that powers enterprise-scale Kubernetes environments. You can design and implement VKS solutions to support a wide range of customer outcomes and deployment models, including single-site, metro stretched, multi-site, and globally distributed environments. You understand the complete stack required to successfully deliver Kubernetes services, including compute, networking, storage, security, operations, automation, load balancing, and platform lifecycle management.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead your own assigned VKS projects from beginning to end: Design, Deploy, Configure and Validate.
- Guide customers through application discovery, modernization planning, platform design decisions, and successful implementation of enterprise Kubernetes solutions.
- Proven experience deploying and supporting enterprise Kubernetes platforms including VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS), Red Hat OpenShift, Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Rancher.
- Ensure you are maintaining your certification requirements and knowledge of the VMware and VKS product line.

What You Bring:
- You possess high integrity and personal accountability.
- You have 3+ years of experience in customer-facing positions as a technical resource. Ability to communicate technical matters to a non-technical audience.
- Hands on experience with enterprise Kubernetes platforms such as VKS, OpenShift, EKS, AKS, GKE, Rancher, and Tanzu technologies including TKGi, TKGm, TKGs, and Tanzu Mission Control.
- Ability to perform application discovery, dispositioning, and migration strategy development for enterprise workloads.
- Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, security, and Day-2 Kubernetes operations.
- Operational lab experience demonstrated full VKS deployment and lifecycle management.
- Active listener and progressive learner.
- You have 2+ years of VCF Experience.
- Ability to communicate complex Kubernetes and infrastructure concepts
- Demonstrates technical writing capabilities and has consistent documentation habits for knowledge transfer.
- Proven track record of on time and under budget project completion.
- Obtained bachelor’s degree in computer science and or 3+ years of relevant experience OR 8+ years of relevant experience required.
- VMware Certifications, CNCF Certifications: CKA, CKS, CKAD.

Salary: $150,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year + Bonuses & Incentive
